To design a sophisticated yet creatively courageous sanctuary that is precisely tailored to our client’s life, her rhythms and her habits. To fully manage and drive forward the project on behalf of our time-poor client.
Design
Using bold pockets of colour against neutral walls amplified the impact of our client’s treasured art collection, while creating energy and warmth. Together with our trusted art consultant we commissioned further art works to sit comfortably within the space, as well as a number of bespoke pieces, including joinery, upholstery, soft furnishings, furniture and internal glazing. Many more pieces were sourced to complement our client’s existing family heirlooms to ensure a seamless flow and sense of coherence throughout the space. The alchemy of different finishes, together with layers of texture results in a uniquely enduring scheme. We enjoyed a warm and fun process with our client, helping to eliminate any sense of overwhelm for her.
