Once an en suite for the guest bedroom, we reconfigured the layout to turn it into a powder room now accessed off the hall - a more practical solution for visitors.
The existing hard, clinical surfaces and finishes gave way to a textured wallpaper with subtle herringbone pattern, the smoky blue hue connecting to the colours used in the sitting room and hall.
The fabulous patterned roman blind fabric picks out the earthy terracotta used on the new vanity unit.

The master suite is now a layered space of sumptuous comfort. A upholstered, shaped headboard is the focal point, happily complemented by the small scale patterned curtains with their soft pleated valance pelmets.
New joinery was designed to maximise the available storage space, and a built in dressing table is both a useful and visually pleasing addition. The en suite continues the muted pink and cream hues to create a truly cohesive feel.

The kitchen was once a tiny, pine-tastic, 80’s delight! With some smart spatial reconfiguration, a wonderful kitchen designer in place (@katefeatherkitchendesign), and considered use of colour and texture, it has been metamorphosed in to a highly functioning, sophisticated space. There’s even room for a bistro table in which to sit and enjoy a morning coffee and croissant.

As you can see by swiping, the sitting room in the Marylebone pied-à-terre was dated and lifeless.
Our clients had an affinity with the arts and crafts movement, and this provided the basis for the colour palette we used throughout - warm blues, terracotta, mustard yellow and natural greens.
The sitting room has been transformed into an inviting and characterful space, with comfortable and multi functional seating, bespoke built in joinery and layered lighting.

What the shower room lacks in size, it makes up for in impact and storage! We laid the tiles horizontally to create an illusion of width, with the glazed finish scattering light across the space and again making the room appear larger.

The brief for the bedroom in the Dulwich pied-à-terre was to create a calm and restful sanctuary with a subtle nod to exotic, colonial styles.
A classic display of adding interest through layers of pattern, fabric and texture, this scheme was a dream to work on. The gentle geometric headboard, hand blocked paisley print of the curtains, and bolder floral of the bed cushion, sit beautifully against the soft putty backdrop.

The garden room needed to fill the senses with warmth and cheer. We used a lightly striped wallpaper and mirrored the lines in the reeded joinery, painted in the perfect shade of sunny yellow to really radiate. A narrow footstool allows our clients to relax and put their feet up whilst not blocking access to the Mediterranean style courtyard.
